Introduction to The Satyug Darshan Charitable Dispensaries

Satyug Darshan Charitable Dispensaries are being established in accordance with the objectives as laid down in the Trust Deed dated July 12, 1995, which says that the object of the Trust shall be as under:

Clause 3 (a) – To disseminate teaching of all religions, to conduct and arrange satsung, to infuse consciousness, fraternity and love for humanity, to arrange and celebrate religious festivals, to work for overall spiritual upliftment for all and for achieving these objects to print and publish magazines, journals and other literature.

Clause 3 (c) -  To establish, open, run or mange dispensaries, hospitals, medical camps etc. for providing medical relief for the general masses.

First step towards achieving this objective was taken by opening a small dispensary at ‘Vasundhra’ complex itself to cater needs of its residents, labourers at work-sites and people residing in surrounding villages. This dispensary provides free of cost, the services of qualified doctors for medical check-up  and medicine required for treatment of patients. Besides this, the Trust has also organised a number of medical camps wherein free medical check-up by specialists from various medical fields such as Eye, Surgery, Heart, Skin, Medicine,  Child (Paediatrics), Orthopaedics & Gynaecologist was done and free medicines given to patients. For proper diagnosis of ailments, following facilities were provided free of cost :-

Such camps have been organised at Faridabad, Panchkula, Jalundhar, Moradabad, Ambala, Bareilly, Delhi, Ludhiana, Rohtak and Saharanpur. Special immunisation camps were also organised wherein Hepatitis-B, Typhoid, MMR, Chicken Pox and HIB injections were given to patients from weaker sections free of cost and to middle class families at concessional rates. Moreover, a blood donation camp was also organised. Besides Allopathis treatment, camps were also organised for Naturopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurvedic, Yoga and Reiki at ‘Vasundhra’ complex. Free boarding & lodging facilities were provided to patients and their attendants. So far, fifteen thousand people have been benefited from these camps.

A list of such camps is annexed as Annex. No. A.

The above-mentioned camps proved immensely popular and there was tremendous demand for organising these camps on a regular basis. Taking in view these facts, the Trust has planned for setting up a chain of charitable dispensaries in various cities, in a phased manner. The objective of opening these dispensaries is to serve humanity by providing proper health-care facilities to the economically deprived sections of the society for common medical  and health-care needs on O.P.D. basis. At initial stage, these dispensaries will provide facilities to treat the following:

1.     Minor Injury

2.     Viral infections and bacterial infection

3.     Gastroenteritis (loose motions, vomiting)

4.     Diabetics

5.     Blood-pressure, monitoring patients suffering from hypertension

6.     Laboratory Investigations

7.     Pain Management

8.     All stress related diseases/Stress Management

9.     referral Services.

Modus Operandi

All dispensaries opened at different locations under this scheme will function in the name and style of ‘Satyug Darshan Charitable Dispensaries, (name of the city)   and under supervision and control of Sajans residing there. A Local Ad-hoc Management Committee consisting of five members will be formed and one member will be chosen as a ‘Head’   of the said Committee. The Committee would be required to allocate duty to each member to ensure proper functioning of the dispensaries and a copy of their duty-list will be sent to the Trust office for coordination. Overall supervision and control in regard to proper and smooth functioning of these dispensaries will be handled by one of the designate Trustee. This Trustee would be required to monitor affairs of these dispensaries on regular basis and keep the Board of Trustees apprised about the functioning of each dispensary at monthly intervals with his comments and recommendations. The Trustee will also analyse the requirement of the dispensary (financial and otherwise) and submit his recommendations to the Board for final approval.

These activities described above are a modest start. The Satyug Darshan Trust intends to continuously expand on these activities across multiple locations to serve humanity at a large, irrespective of any caste, creed and religion.
